Each episode of Foodlore uncovers emotional and cultural connections to food. We celebrate the stories behind every plate—from immigrant kitchens to heirloom cookbooks, from comfort food to forgotten rituals. For me, food is more than nourishment—it’s nostalgia, tradition, joy, and sometimes even grief. Whether it’s the local pride in Sonoran cuisine in Tucson, AZ or the deep emotional ties to a family recipe, I’ve seen firsthand how food defines people and places.
I’m Jenn Seasly—researcher, storyteller, and lifelong food lover. I’ve lived in over 30 places across the globe, and no matter where I landed, one thing remained constant: food connects us all. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t have a favorite dish, and behind every dish is a memory, a culture, and a story worth telling.
“I want you to feel a connection to the foods we explore—and reflect on your own food memories. That’s the heart of Foodlore.”
